The College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln seeks candidates for a position as Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Practice (non-tenure track) in one of the College’s academic departments. This appointment is for a multi-year contract, renewable subject to performance. The position will also serve as the Director of International Business Programs, and in that capacity will report to the College Associate Dean for Academic Programs. Teaching responsibilities will be teaching international business courses, six credit hours per semester, at the undergraduate and/or graduate level as needed. Director responsibilities include administering international educational programs and activities in the College, including administration of the undergraduate International Business major and international courses in the MBA program, study abroad programs, and coordination of academic advising for international students; coordinating the College’s faculty development program for international endeavors; and acting as liaison with the University’s Education Abroad office. Position begins August 2015.
Minimum requirements are a master’s degree in a business or related field and relevant professional experience.
Terminal degree in a business or related field at beginning of appointment is preferred. Candidates with a demonstrated accomplishment in collegiate teaching, a successful record of administration or student advising, and international experience are preferred.
