Le Moyne College’s Economics Department seeks to fill one visiting assistant professor position in the economics of financial markets beginning August 2015. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Economics or expect to complete the degree by July 2015.
Applicants should be experienced and versatile instructors who have a strong interest in mentoring students in a liberal arts environment. Teaching responsibilities include principles of economics, an upper-level course in the economics of financial markets, and another course or two in areas of the candidate’s interest, such as international and/or development economics or health economics. The teaching load is 3 courses one semester and 4 courses the other semester. Le Moyne College strives to provide a quality undergraduate learning experience with small class sizes, and faculty that are approachable and attentive to student advising.
