Company Description:
Founded in 1919, AUC moved to its new, state-of-the-art campus in New Cairo beginning Fall Semester, 2008. Among the premier universities in the region, AUC is accredited by a number of institutions, including the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, its Engineering programs are accredited by ABET, its Chemistry program is accredited by the Canadian Society for Chemistry, and the School of Business is accredited by AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS. The AUC Libraries contain the largest English-language research collection in the region and are an active and integral part of the University’s pursuit of excellence in all academic and scholarly programs. AUC is an English-medium institution; eighty-five percent of the students are Egyptian and the rest include students from nearly ninety countries, principally from the Middle East, Africa and North America. Faculty salary and rank are based on qualifications and professional experience. All faculty receive generous benefits, from AUC tuition to access to research funding; expatriate faculty also receive relocation benefits including annual home leave, and tuition assistance for school age children. In view of AUC's protocol agreement with the Egyptian government, which requires specific proportions of Egyptian, U.S., and third-country citizen faculty, at this time preference will be given to qualified applicants who are U.S. citizens.

Job Description:
The School of Business seeks an Assistant Professor of Management for a full time, tenure-track appointment beginning in Fall 2015. Possible fields of interest include but are not limited to entrepreneurship, strategy, and business law. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in the Bachelor of Business Administration and the Master of Business Administration programs and engage actively in research. All faculty must be willing to teach introductory courses.

Requirements:
Applicants must have a PhD in Management or closely related field by the time of appointment, preferably with a record of an active research agenda and teaching experience.
