Tenure track Assistant Professor position in Economics beginning Fall 2015. Fields of expertise include international finance, economic development and experimental. PhD in Economics or Public Policy as well as demonstrate strong actual or potential research and teaching is required. As high quality graduate and undergraduate instruction expected, teaching experience is highly desirable. The candidate’s research and teaching will be expected to contribute to our new graduate degrees in Integral Economic Development, which present an integrated perspective of human development, one that holds “the dignity of the human person, the good of the family, and the good of the community as foundational principles of economic development” (iedm.cua.edu). It will also teach undergraduate courses in the area of macroeconomics. The Catholic University of America was founded in the name of the Catholic Church as a national university and center of research and scholarship.
