The Department of Economics at the University of North Texas invites applicants for an associate/full professor position in Economics for the Fall 2015 semester.

The candidate must currently possess a PhD in Economics and qualify for tenure and appointment as an associate professor. Preference will be given to candidates that: qualify for full professor; have a consistent record of obtaining and executing sponsored research projects; have experience as a research center director; possess a demonstrated record of working in an interdisciplinary fashion; and have established working relationships with industry and government professionals in areas related to economic development. Actual teaching course loads are assigned based on departmental needs. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and degree held.

Applicants will submit the following documents: cover letter; curriculum vitae; a summary of sponsored research projects and center management experience, a summary of teaching, and at least (3) three references.
