Description:
The Department of Economics in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of assistant professor in the field of experimental economics beginning in Fall 2015.

The department is interested in candidates whose research focuses on supply chain operations using controlled laboratory experiments. The ideal candidate will be involved in business relevant research grounded in industrial organization and game theory supporting the Walton College’s strategic thrust in global retail supply chain management. Aligning with this goal, the Walton College operates a state of the art Behavioral Business Research Laboratory (BBRL.uark.edu) comprised of multiple computer labs, a shopper insights lab, and series of focus group rooms.

Candidates should demonstrate the potential to produce high quality academic research in leading journals and secure external research funding. The successful candidate will be expected to have a commitment to high quality teaching at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels.

Applicants are expected to have earned a Ph.D. in economics by August 2015.
