Sweet Briar College is accepting applications for a 1-2 year visiting professor in Economics starting in August 2015. Highest priority fields include microeconomics, development economics and public policy, though the College will consider high quality candidates in all fields of economics.

Applicants must possess a deep commitment to undergraduate teaching and scholarly research. Candidates should be interested in working in a dynamic liberal arts environment and exploring ties with colleagues in other departments. The successful candidate will be expected to participate fully in the life of the College through activities such as academic advising and mentoring undergraduate research.
