The Department of Economics at The University of Melbourne invites applications for tenure track positions at the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) level. Applications from candidates specializing in any area of economics will be considered. The Department is interested in applicants with the capability to publish in leading refereed journals and to provide high-quality teaching and thesis supervision at the undergraduate, Master's and Ph.D. level. The Department offers internationally-competitive salaries and benefits and a stimulating work environment. Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in economics by the time of appointment.
