Associate/Full Professor Faculty Position in Education Policy and Leadership

The Graduate School of Education (GSOE) and the School of Public Policy (SPP) at the University of California, Riverside invite applications and nominations for one or more joint positions in the area of Education Policy and Leadership. The appointment will be either at the associate or full professor level. The position will commence as early as July 1, 2015 or as negotiated.

GSOE and SPP are seeking a dynamic scholar with an interdisciplinary research agenda and proven record of research and external funding. UC-Riverside has established a range of collaborative research centers. Currently the GSOE, School of Public Policy, and School of Medicine are building collaborative research initiatives that intersect education, policy, and health outcomes. These initiatives include collaborating with regional policy agencies to design, test, and scale-up interventions that can improve outcomes among historically-underserved populations. Preference will be given to scholars who have a record of collaborative research working across policy contexts and a history of seeking external funding for interdisciplinary research. UC-Riverside was ranked second among all universities in the nation in 2014 by the Washington Monthly based on contribution to the public good in three areas: social mobility, research, and service.

Candidates interested in applying should send an electronic application. Include a letter describing current and proposed future areas of research and fit with position description, a curriculum vita, and names and contacts of 3-5 references to https://aprecruit.ucr.edu/apply/JPF00241.

Review of the applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. To ensure full consideration, applications and supporting material should be received by December 1, 2014.

Any inquiries should be directed to Dr. Rollanda O’Connor, Chair of the Search Committee (rollanda.oconnor@ucr.edu).
