The Department of Economics solicits applications in area studies with particular focus on the economics of Japan. The position will begin September 1, 2015, for a university-year appointment subject to budgetary approval. Research capacity and teaching ability serve as the primary criteria for selection. Ph.D. and strong research orientation are required, with Ph.D. expected by August 2015, for junior applicants.
