The Department of Health Policy and Management in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health has an open faculty position in health economics with an emphasis on applied microeconomics. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in economics, health economics, or a closely related field. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Candidates will be evaluated by their potential to develop an innovative research agenda which includes publishing in high-impact journals and obtaining extramural funding. Candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching and advising graduate students in the department’s masters and doctoral programs, as well as other programs in the School. Teaching graduate-level courses in applied microeconomics and/or health economics is expected.
