The Department of Economics and Social Sciences at John Cabot University, a fully-accredited American liberal arts college in Rome, Italy, invites applications for a full-time position in financial economics and quantitative methods. Applicants should be committed to teaching, and are expected to teach introductory and advanced undergraduate courses in economics, finance, statistics and quantitative/mathematical methods. The course load is three per semester. We seek candidates with a Ph.D. or ABD, demonstrated excellence in teaching and research, and a commitment to academic service. The ideal candidate should be a graduate of an American university or have experience in the American liberal arts tradition; candidates at all levels will be considered. The initial appointment is for two years with the possibility of tenure. Candidates are expected to be fluent in English which is also the language of instruction.
