CSMGEP: Renee Bowen

 

Renee Bowen is an Associate Professor of Economics in the School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS) at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). She also holds positions as Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), Faculty Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR), and Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). She was previously an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a National Fellow at the Hoover Institution. Her fields of specialization are Political Economy, Microeconomic Theory and International Trade. Her work has been published in the American Economic Review, the Quarterly Journal of Economics and other leading economics journals. She is on the editorial board for the Review of International Organizations and she holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Georgetown University.
