CSMGEP: Perry Singleton

Perry Singleton is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, and a Senior Researcher at the Center for Policy Research.  His general research interests are in labor, public, and health economics, and his work explores the effects of health on labor supply, productivity, marriage, and disability benefit receipt, and the effects of disability benefits on labor supply and health behavior. He is also interested in the economics of occupational safety and health.  He earned a Ph.D. in economics at the University of Maryland and a B.S. in finance at the University of Illinois.  He is also an alumnus of the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program.
