The International School of Finance (ISF) at Renmin University of China (RUC) invites applications worldwide for full-time positions at the Full Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor levels.

RUC is the first comprehensive research university founded by the People’s Republic of China. The University currently has 14 disciplines included in the “Double First-Class initiative”, 9 of which, including finance, are ranked A+ by China’s Ministry of Education.

Established in 2026 as one of the first pilot institutions under China’s National Graduate College for Outstanding Talent in the Social Sciences initiative, ISF focuses on the frontiers of finance and technology. The school cultivates interdisciplinary financial talent, advances research on macroeconomic and financial theory and policy, and builds global academic and institutional networks.

Research Fields

International Finance; Monetary Economics and Banking; Macro-Finance; Asset Pricing; Financial Technology; and Artificial Intelligence in Finance.
Qualifications

Full Professor: Applicants must hold a PhD and demonstrate a sustained record of influential original research, an established international academic reputation, excellence in teaching and graduate supervision, and strong academic leadership.

Associate Professor: Applicants must hold a PhD, have an outstanding record of original research, and demonstrate excellence in teaching.

Assistant Professor: Applicants must hold a PhD before August 2027 and demonstrate independent research ability, a promising research agenda, and the ability to deliver high-quality teaching.
Compensation and Benefits
