Assistant Professor - Macroeconomics, Department of Economics

The Economics Department at Bridgewater State University seeks qualified applicants for a tenure-track faculty position to teach introductory and advanced economics courses. Commitment to and experience with various forms of teaching (both online and in person) and supporting student wellbeing is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be required to advise undergraduate students as well as conduct various service and research activities. Opportunities exist for participating in interdisciplinary programs as well as developing new programs, service-learning projects, study abroad courses, and research projects with university support.
Salary is commensurate with experience in accordance with the Appendix O of the MSCAcontract. A reasonable starting salary range to expect for a new faculty member appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor is $75,000 to $85,000.
