The Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business (NUGSB) invites applications for a full-time faculty position in international finance and macroeconomics, starting August 2027. Strong candidates from other fields are also welcome. Please state your field(s) of interest in your cover letter.
NUGSB was founded in 2013 with Duke University's Fuqua School of Business as its strategic partner. It offers PhD, Executive MBA, MBA, MSc Finance and MA Economics programs, as well as bachelor programs in business and economics. It recently launched a double degree in Eurasian Business Administration with HKUST Business School. Based in Astana, on the Belt and Road between Europe and Asia, NUGSB sits at the heart of one of the world’s fastest-growing regions.
NUGSB is a research-intensive school. Faculty enjoy generous research time, an efficient teaching load, internal research grants and a highly competitive salary and benefit package. The UT Dallas ranking places NUGSB first in Central Asia and in the global top five for young business schools.
