The E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the assistant/associate professor level in the Department of Finance and Economics beginning Fall 2027. To be considered, candidates should possess a Ph.D. in economics or financial economics (or a closely related field) from an AACSB-accredited program. A.B.D. candidates with a clear plan for degree completion by August 2027 may be considered.

A candidate with a completed Ph.D. must have a recent and consistent record of publication in quality refereed journals. Candidates who have interest and background in econometrics, financial economics, and/or data science are especially encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate would also have a track record of community engagement and experiential learning that can create value for the department and for student learning experiences.

The teaching load is three courses per academic semester and may include face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online delivery.
