The Economics Department invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the assistant professor level beginning in Fall 2027, one in microeconomics and one in macroeconomics. Requirements include completed Ph.D. in Economics prior to the start date, evidence of promise in research, demonstrated capacity for effective teaching and a willingness to be active in service to Providence College and the community. As our student body becomes increasingly diverse, we welcome applicants with experience teaching and mentoring students from a range of social, cultural, and economic backgrounds.
