The University of Mississippi’s Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning August 2027. The Department has a need for an economist who specializes in Monetary Economics and who can teach at both the graduate and the undergraduate levels. The candidate will be expected to contribute to our undergraduate emphasis in Financial Economics and teach in our graduate macroeconomics sequence. The ability to teach time series at the graduate level is a plus, but not required.
 
A Ph.D. completed by August 2027 is expected.
