The Department of Economics at National Tsing Hua University invites applications for full-time faculty positions at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor, beginning in August 2027.

Applicants at all levels are welcome. Promising PhD candidates who will complete all degree requirements before 1 August 2027 are also encouraged to apply and must fulfil all degree requirements before that date to be eligible for appointment. All fields of specialization will be considered.

The regular teaching load is four courses per academic year (two courses per semester). To facilitate research productivity and a smooth transition, assistant professors receive a one-course reduction per academic year until tenure and therefore teach three courses per academic year.

Taiwanese citizenship is not required. Courses may be taught in either Mandarin or English.
