The School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS) at UC San Diego invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in the fields of Economics, with a focus on Chinese economy. The school seeks an outstanding scholar doing research on issues related to China and the global economy. Faculty are expected to produce original research and publish in highly ranked academic journals, to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, to supervise and mentor graduate students, and to engage in select service activities.

Qualifications: Assistant Professor: Ph.D./equivalent or ABD in Economics, Business, Management, or a related field with an Economics concentration. Associate/Full Professor: Ph.D. in a related field. All candidates must hold a Ph.D. by the start date.

Required documents: CV, cover letter, research statement, teaching statement, and writing sample. Assistant Professor applicants must submit 3–5 reference letters. Associate/Full Professor applicants must provide five reference contacts; letters will be requested from finalists.
