The Institute for Economic and Social Research (IESR) at Jinan University has multiple tenure-track positions available.
For the tenure‑track roles, applications are especially encouraged from scholars in applied microeconomics. Accomplished senior candidates with strong research and teaching records are welcome to apply. Assistant Professor applicants must hold a PhD or expect to complete their doctorate by August 2027. A complete application includes a cover letter, curriculum vitae, job‑market paper, research statement, and three reference letters submitted directly by referees. All materials are due December 1, 2026; short‑listed candidates will be invited for online interviews.
A competitive compensation package commensurate with experience will be offered, comprising salary, research funds, housing allowances, and standard fringe benefits. The medium of instruction is English.
