Renmin University of China (RUC) is the first comprehensive research university founded by the People’s Republic of China. RUC has 14 “Double First-Rate” disciplines, 9 of which are ranked A+ by China’s Ministry of Education.

The School of Finance (SFRUC) as one of the founding schools of RUC has made pioneering contribution to the development of finance and public finance disciplines in China. Since 2004, during all rounds of China’s first-rate discipline evaluation held by the Ministry of Education of China, applied economics with finance and public finance as the backbone has consecutively been ranked No.1. SFRUC warmly invites applications for full-time faculty positions (Assistant/ Associate Professor, Professor) in the research fields listed below.

Primary Research Fields
Applicants are required to specify one field in application materials from the following categories:
Public Finance: International Taxation, Fiscal Policy, Public Budgeting, Applied Microeconomics

Job Requirements
Candidates for Professor must hold a PhD degree, have high-impact academic achievements, outstanding teaching performance, and proven capacity to lead disciplinary development.
Candidates for Associate Professor must hold a PhD degree and possess outstanding research achievements and teaching capabilities.
Candidates for Assistant Professor must obtain a PhD degree by August 2027, with independent research capabilities and strong academic potential.
