The Department of Economics at McGill University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Theory. The appointment is expected to be at the rank of Assistant Professor. The position start date is August 1, 2027.

Candidates should have completed their PhD or be near completion. An applicant’s record of performance must provide evidence of outstanding research potential and the ability/potential to teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate level, as well as evidence (or intentions) of undergraduate and graduate supervision and of mentoring students with diverse lived experiences.
