The Department of Economics seeks to hire a non-tenure-track Adjunct Assistant Professor in Agricultural Economics with interests in the economics of agricultural processing and agricultural contracts. The approximate division of responsibilities for this position is 15% research, 25% teaching (equivalent to 2 classes per year), 55% extension and outreach, and 5% institutional service. The appointment term is three years, renewable upon satisfactory performance. The individual in this position is expected to develop a nationally recognized research and outreach program in the economics surrounding agricultural processing, including contract design and industrial organization.
