The Northwestern University Department of Economics anticipates filling a full time opening at the rank of Associate or Full Professor beginning September 1, 2027. The primary focus of the search is in Applied Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. Duties include teaching, research, and advising graduate students. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. by the start date. Primary considerations for all faculty positions will be an outstanding research record, excellent recommendations, and teaching ability. Salary will be competitive. Candidates who, through their research, teaching, and service, will contribute to the excellence of our academic community are encouraged to apply.
