The Center for Applied Economics (CEA, http://www.cea-uchile.cl/), part of the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Chile, invites applications for tenure-track positions at the assistant and associate professor levels. We welcome applicants in all fields of Economics.

Applicants should hold a PhD in Economics or a closely related field by the appointment start date; candidates near completion will be considered too. We seek colleagues with a strong record or clear promise of high-quality research and a commitment to graduate and undergraduate teaching. CEA offers a competitive salary, research funding, and an active community of economists in one of Latin America's leading research environments.

Knowledge of Spanish is not required at the time of appointment, but successful candidates are expected to be able to teach in Spanish within two years of joining.
