Assistant Professor of Health Policy
The LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Health Policy, beginning August 2027.
We seek expertise in one or more of: healthcare systems; healthcare delivery and organization; healthcare financing and insurance; health disparities; health policy; health services research; and the effects of policy on health, including socioeconomic and environmental determinants. The appointee will conduct policy-relevant research, teach public policy courses, and participate in faculty governance.
A PhD in Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field with a health policy emphasis is required by the start of employment. ABD candidates and current assistant professors will be considered.
