The Department of Economics at Simon Fraser University is inviting applications for one full-time tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The expected start date is on or after July 1, 2027. Preference will be given to candidates employing empirical approaches to environmental economics, trade and international economics, industrial organization, urban economics and applied econometrics. However, strong candidates in all fields will be given serious consideration.
The Department will start reviewing files of applicants with PhDs attained before 2026 on October 1, 2026. For applicants with PhDs attained or expected to be awarded in 2026, the Department will begin reviewing on November 30, 2026. All applications are to be submitted through www.econjobmarket.org.
