The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) invites applications for an endowed, full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Division of Health Policy, Economics & Data Analytics.

We seek an economist with expertise in health economics, applied microeconomics, and econometrics to develop an independent, externally funded research program in health economics and health policy. The successful candidate will pursue a broad research agenda addressing healthcare delivery, financing, markets, policy, and population health, while devoting a portion of their research effort to the economics of breast cancer prevention, treatment, survivorship, and care delivery. The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative research environment with access to nationally recognized experts in oncology, public health, epidemiology, health services research, biostatistics, implementation science, and community-engaged research, as well as rich data resources, including administrative claims, cancer registries, electronic health records, and other large population-based datasets.

Applicants must hold a PhD in Economics with expertise in advanced econometric methods, including causal inference, quasi-experimental designs, and machine learning. Candidates should also demonstrate scholarly productivity and the potential to establish an independent, externally funded research program.
