The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Tsukuba invites applications for a full-time permanent faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor in Econometrics, beginning April 1, 2027.
We welcome applications from outstanding candidates specializing in either theoretical or applied econometrics. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct high-quality research, supervise empirical research theses, and contribute to the university’s international programs.

Teaching Responsibilities:
Graduate Level: Specialized courses and seminars conducted in English for the Master's and Doctoral Programs in International Public Policy.
Undergraduate Level: Introductory courses, specialized courses, and seminars in Economics for the College of International Studies.
Contribution to administrative duties and committees within the faculty and university.

Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or an equivalent doctoral degree at the time of application. Candidates should have an excellent record of research achievements in econometrics and demonstrate strong English communication skills essential for lectures, student advising, and research activities.
