Nanjing University (NJU) invites applications for tenure-track Assistant Professor and Associate Professor positions in economics.

NJU, founded in 1902 and located in the historic city of Nanjing, is one of China's most prestigious universities. The Business School at NJU is a leading research-oriented institution spanning the disciplines of economics and management. The discipline of economics has been recognized as a national Double First-Class discipline in China. The Business School provides competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and strong support for faculty research.

Candidates should hold (or expect to complete by the time of appointment) a Ph.D. in economics or a related field, and demonstrate excellence or promise in research and effective teaching. We welcome applications from candidates in all fields of economics, with particular interest in the following areas:

(1) Theoretical Economics (Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Development Economics, Digital Economics, and Behavioral Economics);
(2) International Economics and Trade;
(3) Finance (International Finance, Financial Technology, and Digital Finance);
(4) Industrial Economics;
(5) Labor, Population, Environmental, and Health Economics.

Associate Professor candidates should have an established publication record and academic achievements commensurate with the rank.
