Econ One provides economic consulting and expert testimony in antitrust, class action, labor & employment, finance, health economics, and other commercial litigation. Our team combines expertise in applied statistics, data management, economic theory, and econometrics with decades of experience across all stages of litigation.
We seek an Econometrician (remote) to support testifying experts on antitrust and damages matters, applying rigorous econometric and statistical methods to real-world data. The ideal candidate manages workstreams, mentors junior staff, and communicates complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences in a fast-paced remote environment.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing econometric models and statistical analyses; managing workstreams for accuracy and quality; mentoring junior staff; conducting independent research; cleaning and analyzing data in SAS and/or Stata; producing written work product (memoranda, reports, exhibits); and communicating findings to attorneys, clients, and experts while managing case timelines.
Requirements: Ph.D. in Economics (or equivalent experience) in microeconomics, applied microeconomics, industrial organization, or econometrics; minimum three years supporting testifying experts in antitrust litigation; demonstrated econometric and statistical modeling proficiency; significant SAS and/or Stata experience; strong analytical, research, and writing skills; proven leadership and mentoring experience; and ability to work independently and in teams with a commitment to quality.
