The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Musashi University, Tokyo, Japan, invites applications for a tenured, tenure-track, or fixed-term position in Economics, with a specialization in Microeconomics and Applied Microeconomics, beginning on September 1, 2027.

The Economics and Management Program within the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences offers a Parallel Degree Programme (PDP) in partnership with the University of London (UoL), through which students pursue dual degrees from Musashi University and the University of London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the following courses in English: Behavioral Economics and/or Industrial Organization, Microeconomics and/or Mathematics and Statistics.

The candidate is also expected to maintain an active research agenda and conduct independent research. The university provides research support, including office space, library access, and a generous research allowance.

Qualification includes a completed Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field. Japanese proficiency is a plus, but not required.
