The Department of Economics at National Chung Cheng University in Taiwan is inviting applications from qualified candidates for assistant or associate professor positions, starting on August 1, 2027. Promising PhD candidates must have earned their degree by August 1, 2027 to be formally employed. Specializations in international finance, macroeconomics, environmental economics, economic history and other areas of economics will be considered. English fluency and literacy in Chinese are required. The complete application package must include:
a cover letter and research statement;
a curriculum vitae;
an official Ph.D. transcript (if applying for an assistant professorship);
job market papers and research papers;
three reference letters (to be sent separately by referees);
a teaching evaluation (if applicable).
Applicants who earned their degree abroad must provide an authenticated doctoral diploma from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' overseas embassies by the required deadline.
