The Princeton DeCenter invites applications for Postdoctoral Fellows (including more senior researchers) for appointments beginning between February 2027 and February 2028. Appointments will be made at the rank of Postdoctoral Research Associate or a more senior rank, as appropriate. Postdoctoral appointments are for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance and continued funding. More senior appointments may be multi-year. Candidates must have completed their Ph.D. before the appointment begins.

The DeCenter is an interdisciplinary research hub at Princeton University dedicated to advancing research on blockchain, decentralized technologies, and the decentralization of power and trust. Fellows will join a collaborative community spanning computer science, economics, law, political science, philosophy, and related fields.

Scope and Expectations
Fellows will conduct original research, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to cross-disciplinary research initiatives. They will also help foster the DeCenter community by co-organizing seminars, workshops, and related programming.

Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have:
• A strong research record in their primary discipline.
• Experience leading independent research projects.
• Demonstrated ability or strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Research experience or demonstrated interest in blockchain, decentralized technologies, or related areas.
