The School of Economics at the University of Sydney is one of the leading centres for economics research and education in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. We invite applications from outstanding candidates in macroeconomics for the full-time, fixed term position of Lecturer (equivalent of Assistant Professor in North America). The appointment will be for up to three years.
The School has a broad range of research interests in both theoretical and applied areas of Economics and is responsible for undergraduate and graduate programs (including PhD) in Economics. The successful applicant will have a completed (or near complete) PhD in Economics. Initial interviews will be held online.
The successful applicant will be available to commence employment as soon as possible. A competitive remuneration package of AU$155,063 - $184,135 p.a. is available (which includes a base salary AU$132,533 - $157,381 p.a, 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation).
