Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Central Banking Group of Asia School of Business invites applications for full-time Professors of Economics specializing in core central banking areas. We seek candidates with an outstanding research record and thought leadership relevant to central banks in emerging markets, financial supervision/regulation, and sovereign wealth management.
Successful candidates will contribute to translational research, teach at graduate and executive levels, and help shape curriculum and initiatives for the Master in Central Banking and executive education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and publish high-impact research in central banking, finance, or related fields; teach and develop graduate courses integrating theory and practice; mentor graduate students and junior faculty; contribute to curriculum development, faculty governance, and academic initiatives; innovate teaching approaches; secure research funding; and build partnerships with central banks, government agencies, and industry.
Qualifications:
PhD in Economics, Finance, or related field from a reputable university; strong research and publication record; excellent teaching and communication skills; interdisciplinary collaboration experience. Professional experience in central banking or finance and grant funding experience are advantageous.
