Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Center on Global Energy Policy (CGEP) at Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs seeks a Senior Research Scholar to work on major research topics related to energy and climate change. Particular areas of interest include expertise to conduct research to support interdisciplinary research at the intersection of international trade and the clean energy transition. The candidate will oversee the Trade and the Clean Energy Transition initiative at CGEP, oversee the day-to-day program operation, including securing funding, building, and implementing a strategic plan and initiatives for the growth of both the program and the Center on Global Energy Policy.
Successful execution will require generating original research, managing collaborative research projects and programs across departments, and communicating research findings clearly and concisely to a wide range of audiences in a manner that maximizes policy impact and contributes to the University’s wider research and convening efforts. This person will help to set the research vision and agenda for CGEP’s Trade and Clean Energy Transition Program in collaboration with the leadership team.
