Position Title/Short Description

Full Text of JOE Listing:

Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan) invites applications for one Research Economist (Financial Sector Analysis, Assistant Research Fellow equivalent) position.

Qualifications
1. A Ph.D. degree in finance, economics, or a related field from a domestic or foreign university.
2. Expertise in financial econometrics, financial engineering, or financial institution risk management.
3. Strong proficiency in applying econometric methods to economic and financial analysis, with excellent empirical and independent research capabilities. Programming skills (e.g.,WPF,C#,Python,or R) are highly desirable.
4. Excellent command of English.
5. At least two years of relevant research experience in the financial sector, particularly in banking, insurance, or financial institutions.

Job Responsibilities
1. Conduct financial econometric analysis, develop quantitative models, and undertake applied research on risks and developments in the financial sector.
2. Perform analysis and research related to financial stability assessment.
3. Undertake special projects and other assigned tasks.

1. Applicants must be citizens of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
2. Applicants shall not be in any of the circumstances stipulated in Article 9 of the Regulations Governing Personnel Management of the Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
