St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, invites applications for a full-time faculty position in economics and quantitative methods at its Mount Mercy campus in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This appointment will carry either tenure-track or professional faculty status, depending on the credentials, and experience. The anticipated rank of the appointment is at the assistant professor level (candidates with more experience may be appointed at a higher rank). Candidates should have some combination of expertise and experience in economics and quantitative methods. Start date is August 17, 2026.
Candidates should be prepared to teach lower-level courses in macroeconomics, microeconomics, and quantitative methods for all business students.
For candidates pursuing an appointment with tenure-track status, preferred qualifications include a doctorate (ABD considered) in economics or closely related field.
For candidates pursuing an appointment with Professional Faculty status, a master’s degree in economics or a closely related field, undergraduate teaching experience, and related professional experience is preferred.
