The world of business is changing and expanding in new and exciting ways. At Perimeter College, Business Administration students develop specialized skills in business fields and improve their ability to communicate, think independently and thrive in the workplace. The department serves 2600 Business pathway students and is comprised of 25 full-time faculty members and 21 part-time instructors. The department is home to the Economics, Computer Information Systems, and Accounting disciplines as well as the popular BUSA: Business, Values, and You introductory course.

Perimeter College invites applications for the next chair of the Department of Business. As the chief administrative and academic officer of the department, the chair is responsible for overseeing the delivery of academic pathways and programs in alignment with the strategic plans of both the college and university. This position reports to the Dean of the respective college or a designated representative.

Required Experience:
•Have an academic and teaching record suitable for tenure and rank at appointment professor at Perimeter college in the department of appointment.
•1 year of academic leadership experience in a higher education setting.

Required Education:
•Terminal degree in departmentally related teaching field at the time of appointment.
