The Department of Economics, Finance, Insurance and Risk Management (EFIRM: http://uca.edu/efirm) at the University of Central Arkansas invites applications for one Visiting Assistant Professor position in Economics to begin in August 2026. This is a position for one academic year, but there is a possibility that it can be renewed.
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Economics or be ABD. The successful candidate will teach lower division-level economics classes, primarily Principles of Macroeconomics and Principles of Microeconomics.
UCA will not sponsor any type of employment based visa for a job candidate. The job candidate must be eligible to work in the United States.
The start date for this position is August 16, 2026. Applicant review will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
