Full Text of JOE Listing:
Seeking a postdoctoral research associate to conduct research in health, environmental, or economics of crime with Dr. Stephen Billings at Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado-Boulder; Ludovica Gazze, University of Warwick; and Kevin Schnepel, Simon Fraser University.
This full-time position (starting July 1, 2026) will primarily support research on the impacts of childhood lead exposure in Colorado as well as other projects in the areas of health, environmental, or economics of crime. This position provides time to pursue individual research and even though it is preferable for this position to be in Colorado, there is the potential for a remote work assignment.
This is a 1 year position which is renewable for up to one additional year.
Minimum qualifications include a PhD in economics or related field by the time of employment with experience in quantitative methods and statistical analysis. Expect proficiency in R, Stata and/or Python.
