The Department of Economics and Management at Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB) invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor position in Applied Microeconomics, starting in August 2026. Fields of interest include Industrial Organization, Labor Economics, Urban Economics, Finance, and Managerial/Organizational Economics. Candidates with strong empirical skills and a policy-oriented research agenda are especially encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to become affiliated with the Institute of Economic Policy, a research unit focused on applied microeconomic analysis. Responsibilities include high-quality research, undergraduate and graduate teaching, thesis supervision, and active participation in departmental academic activities. Through the Institute, faculty benefit from collaborations with partners such as the Becker Friedman Institute at the University of Chicago, offering opportunities for joint research projects, grant applications and visiting programs.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Economics (completed or expected by the start date). Associate-level candidates should demonstrate a strong publication record.
