The Secure Health Data Integration and Research (SHINE) Lab is accepting applications for a postdoctoral fellowship position to join NIH-funded projects in collaboration with the U.S. Census Bureau's Enhancing Health Data (EHealth) Program that develop new integrated data to improve our understanding of the socio-economic drivers of health and, conversely, the effects of health and healthcare policy on social and economic outcomes in the United States. The position will be based at Stanford University but will involve work with researchers both at Stanford and the U.S. Census Bureau.

The position is open to recent graduates of PhD programs in economics, statistics, sociology or related data science fields, preferably with background in the economics of healthcare, public economics, or other fields of applied microeconomics. We are looking for strong background in data analysis, econometrics, and quasi-experimental methods of causal inference.
