Vega Economics is a premier economic consulting firm specializing in econometric analyses and quantitative solutions for litigation. Our team supports academic and industry experts in delivering rigorous, data-driven insights to our clients.

We are seeking a Consultant/Economist to join our Berkeley, CA team. This is an on-site position at our office. In this client- and expert-facing role, you will conduct economic research, analyze large datasets, and develop econometric models to address intricate economic questions. You will be responsible for memorializing the economics into written work product as well as communicating the results verbally to team members, attorneys, and experts.


Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Economics or related field.
Strong skills in econometrics, statistics, and data tools (Stata, R, Python).
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Academic or consulting experience strongly preferred.
