The University of Rochester Department of Economics is recruiting a Postdoctoral Associate to collaborate with Prof. John Singleton on research projects related to charter schools and school choice in New York. The position is based in Rochester, NY.
The Postdoctoral Associate will assist with data analysis and writing research papers, in addition to continuing to work on independent research. Applicants should also expect to participate in the intellectual life of the Department of Economics.
There is a teaching requirement of one undergraduate elective course (industrial organization/networks) during the academic year.
We seek a recent economics PhD graduate with a focus in labor economics, public economics, and/or the economics of education. Expertise in applied micro techniques and a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality research are required.
