Full Text of JOE Listing:
Description: Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Clinical Assistant Professor of Economics, as a member of the Education Choice Research Lab in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis with a preferred start date of January 2026 or August 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
The Education Choice Research Lab conducts rigorous research to inform state and national policy discussions regarding education freedom and school choice. The EFRL analyzes both traditional forms of school choice, including charter schools, vouchers, and tax credit scholarships, as well as emerging and innovative expressions of education freedom enabled by universal choice programs legislated by several states in recent years. The EFRL is housed in the Education Economics Center, which promotes the development of sound education policy by bringing data evidence to education decisions.
